He is all boy.
He likes trucks, dinosaurs, Transformers.
He refuses anything that is pink or girly.
He does karate and soccer.
He makes goo-goo eyes over a little girl at his school.
He thinks police cars and fire trucks are cool.
He wants to be a scientist when he grows up.
However...
I'm pretty sure he will be on Project Runway someday.
As a contestant.
A fashion designer.
And, let's be honest, there aren't a lot of "manly" male fashion designers.
To be honest, most of them are gay.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
How do I know this?
Because the other day, we stopped at Jo-Ann Fabrics to get thread.
And the Little One was completely enthralled with the fabrics.
And the thread.
And the buttons.
He begged to go back to the store today.
To look at fabrics.
And thread.
And buttons.
And he told all his little friends at school about how awesome the fabric store was.
And how he couldn't wait to go back.
Perhaps he'll design me a custom ball gown someday.
If he is able to "make it work."
